Run Home to Mama: The Bug Pages
The Bug started life as a working trailer.
From 2006 until 2014 I was the sole proprietor, CEO and Chief Systems Engineer for Full Circuit Technologies, LLC. I normally flew everywhere and lugged my tools in huge Pelican cases in and out of airports and rental cars from Seattle to Miami. The trailer was a welcome addition to my tool collection as it allowed me to set up shop in a parking lot anywhere I could drive.
2014 brought changes, and though I shifted from field installation as my primary gig to that of AutoCAD driver, I still did some field work, and what I now call The Bug made those jobs a lot easier logistically.
I could set up shop anywhere. This made for much easier bulk terminations, for instance.
It sure came in handy on the move from NW Florida to Colorado.
This was a great place to have lunch on a job site.
Loading out on a rainy night after a long day is less stressful if you have a rig like this.
In the years I used this trailer as a cargo trailer, it served me well.
It continued to serve me well, but with a bit less class.
For about six years, the trailer was a glorified storage shed. I eventually stopped renewing the tag because it was just a waste of money.
